The first edition of an art picnic series featured a
performance by French artist Jean-François
Krebs. Botanical Telepathy enables a fluid
communication between plants and humans.
Rather than seeing plants as a resource for
human consumption, this session develops a
being-to-being dialogue, giving tools to unlearn a
zoo and anthropocentrist proclivity, expanding our
understanding of life systems and interspecies
dependency. The rose session in Queen Mary’s
Rose Gardens in London invites participants to
choose a rose of their liking for practice. The
practice is followed by an informal discussion,
with rose-vibrating cocktails.
