I am a Costa Rican-American writer and curator based in Berlin, with over 15 years experience in the cultural sector. Writing in English, German, and French, I cover contemporary art, architecture, and visual culture, with a particular interest in theoretical accessibility. My work spans art criticism, essays, interviews, exhibitions texts, and other editorial projects exploring the ideas and social conditions that shape artistic practice and its reception.
I am interested in making complex ideas accessible to wider audiences while preserving their critical depth, and in writing that connects art to broader cultural, political, and philosophical questions.
Alongside my writing, I develop editorial and curatorial projects and have collaborated with galleries, cultural institutions, and independent publications on research, content development, and communications. My curatorial practice informs my approach to language and storytelling, with an emphasis on context, clarity, and the ways art can open up new perspectives.
